A set of Denby Pottery stoneware coffee and tea wares in the Arabesque pattern, designed by Gill Pemberton in the early 1960s. The service is finished in a dark brown matte glaze and decorated with repeating stylized circular floral or sunburst motifs in shades of ochre and tan. The collection includes a tall lidded coffee pot, a lidded teapot, a large open jug, a small lidded sugar bowl, low tea cups, tall mugs, and saucers. This design was produced by Denby in Derbyshire, England, and is characteristic of British mid-century modern ceramic design.
