A tall hand-blown art glass vase designed in the form of a calla lily, a style frequently referred to as a Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase. The vessel features a long, slender tapering neck that rises from a wide, flared circular foot. It is crafted from a rose pink glass that displays a deeper colour saturation towards the base. The top is finished with an applied rim of opaque white opaline glass, which has been folded and shaped to resemble a blossom. A characteristic small applied white glass bead or button is situated where the fold meets the neck. The circular foot is finished with a fine edge of clear glass. This form and execution are characteristic of late 19th and early 20th-century glass production from Stourbridge firms. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
