A set of four hand-painted military figurines manufactured by Academy, depicting various British regiments from the late 18th to early 19th centuries. The collection comprises figures representing an Officer of the 6th Dragoons (c.1811) in a red hussar-style tunic with silver-coloured braiding; a Trooper of the 2nd Dragoons (King’s German Legion) in heavy marching order wearing a red coat and bicorne; a Trooper of the Royal Horse Guards (Flanders, 1794) depicted in a blue coat with a silver-coloured cuirass; and an Officer of the 1st Regiment of Life Guards in a red coat and white breeches. Each figure is constructed from a hand-painted resin or composite material and is mounted on an integral base textured to resemble stony ground. The underside of each base features a red factory stamp consisting of a neoclassical temple logo above the word ACADEMY. Additionally, each base retains a silver-coloured foil identification label with a Spartan helmet logo and a barcode sticker marked 12/1482 with EAN 5 025225 214822.
