A collection of metalware items dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, comprising a kettle, a two-tier stand, and two toasting forks. The kettle features a planished copper body with a traditional gooseneck spout and a fixed brass overhead handle secured by rivets. The lid is surmounted by a cast brass acorn finial. The two-tier brass kettle stand or trivet is of triangular form, featuring two shelves with pierced fretwork decoration in foliate and scroll motifs. The stand is supported by three turned baluster-form legs terminating in ball feet. The two brass toasting forks each feature a long, decoratively twisted shaft and a three-pronged end. The handles are cast with figural terrier motifs; one fork depicts a single dog above the raised inscription SCOTTISH TERRIER, while the second fork depicts two dogs above the inscription SCOTCH TERRIER.
