This lot comprises two pieces of mid-20th century West German art pottery, attributed to manufacturers such as Scheurich Keramik. The first item is a tall baluster-form vase with a flared rim and a spreading pedestal base. It is finished in a matte tan glaze with a speckled texture and features horizontal bands of relief-moulded patterns including geometric borders and scrolling foliate motifs. The base is incised with the marks Made in W. Germany and 517-30. The second item is a cylindrical jardiniere with a moulded rim, finished in a multi-coloured high-gloss drip glaze transitioning from dark green to amber and blue. It features relief-moulded circular and scroll patterns. The base is incised with the marks 887-22 and W-GERMANY. Both vessels have a dark brown glazed interior.
