A collection of metal wall sculptures in the mid-century modern style, in the style of makers such as Bovano of Cheshire or Curtis Jere. The assortment includes a sculpture depicting a spotted owl with an enamelled or painted finish, perched upon a wrought metal branch adorned with clusters of fine wire pine needles. Also included are two large stylized maple-type leaves fashioned from hammered sheet metal; one features a polished golden-toned finish, while the other has a russet and ochre heat-patinated finish. The collection further comprises two floral sculptures: a spray featuring two white blossoms and three pink flowers with green leaves, and a larger arrangement featuring a yellow lily-like flower with prominent stamens and large, pointed leaves in a deep red patinated finish. The pieces are constructed from a combination of copper, brass, and iron wire, utilizing techniques such as hammering, shaping, soldering, kiln-fired enamelling, and heat patination. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible.
