A collection of aviation and Second World War commemorative items. The lot includes a framed set of four limited-edition porcelain plates from the Magnificent Four collection by Davenport Pottery, featuring artwork by Barry G. Price. The set comprises depictions of the Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster, and Sunderland. Labels on the reverse identify the plate numbers as 1746, 1640, 1534, and 1983 respectively, with corresponding Bradex numbers.
Also included is a 1979 commemorative mirror by Reflection titled Supermarine Spitfire Vb (Rolls-Royce Merlin 45/46) of No. 92 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1941. The mirror features reproduced signatures of Battle of Britain veterans, with a key to the signatories on the reverse identifying the artist as Keith Broomfield.
The lot further contains a bottle of Centenary 1974 Specially Selected Scotch Whisky, 80 proof, 26 2/3 fl oz, celebrating the dates 1874-1974. This is accompanied by a glass decanter and multiple tumblers decorated with transfer-printed aircraft motifs including the Spitfire and Lancaster.
Additional items comprise a glass-domed model of a Spitfire on a wooden plinth with a plaque marked Super Marine Spitfire 1939, a boxed presentation set containing a pocket watch with chain and a folding knife with Spitfire decoration, an IGN France D-Day commemorative booklet, and a miniature 1939-45 Star campaign medal card.
