A two-volume set of The Spotlight Casting Directory: Stage and Screen, Issue No. 86, published January 1951. Volume I is titled Actors and Stage and Screen Personnel, covering theatrical managers, agents, film companies, studios, and repertory companies. Volume II is titled Actresses including Children and French Section. Both volumes are quarto-sized and bound in green textured cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped titles and the circular Spotlight logo on the front covers. The directories are organised with tiered red-coloured thumb tabs for quick reference to categories such as Contract Artists, Musical, Leading, Juvenile, and Character. The interiors are profusely illustrated with black-and-white photographic portraits of performers accompanied by their professional credits and representation details, such as Linnit & Dunfee Ltd. Notable actors and actresses featured include Ernest Thesiger, Edwin Styles, John Bentley, Ballard Berkeley, Irene Worth, and Judy Campbell. Accompanied by a loose, handwritten envelope addressed to Mrs. M. Sid Moran of Slough, bearing two British postage stamps depicting King George VI.
