An extensive assortment of decorative elephant figurines executed in a variety of media including cast brass, silver-toned metal, hand-carved soapstone, and glazed porcelain. The group features examples of reticulated or pierced carvings in both stone and wood, alongside pieces decorated with blue and white transfer-printed or hand-painted floral and geometric patterns. The collection encompasses several forms and poses, including two circular soapstone display bases featuring parades of miniature elephants. Other materials present include moulded composite with faux-stone finishes and a clear glass figure. While some items bear indistinct marks or characters to the undersides, these are not clearly legible for definitive attribution to a specific maker or manufacturer.
