A collection of British military, sporting, and commemorative items. The lot includes a First World War Victory Medal in bronze with its original rainbow-coloured silk ribbon, featuring the winged figure of Victory. A small bronze unit medal for the Northumberland Fusiliers depicts Saint George slaying the dragon with the motto QUO FATA VOCANT. Included is a white metal commemorative token for Newcastle United FC listing FA Cup victories in 1924, 1932, 1951, 1952, and 1955. Two unmounted bronze sports medals are present, one depicting a tug-of-war scene and the other a high jumper. The group features a 2010 UK cupro-nickel 50 pence piece commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Completing the lot is a pendant fashioned from a skeletonised 1902 Edward VII bronze penny, suspended from a white metal chain.
