A large sculptural cocktail ring featuring a prominent domed circular head. The design is constructed from numerous interwoven, flattened metal strips in an open-work nest or wire-wrap configuration, creating a textured three-dimensional form. The head is set onto a simple polished shank. The piece is manufactured from sterling silver with a yellow gold-toned wash. The interior of the shank is stamped with 925, a copyright symbol, ITALY, and a graphic maker’s mark depicting a bird or winged creature in flight.
