A trio of decorative hand-blown art glass bird figurines, each produced using the sommerso technique where a core of coloured glass is encased within a thick layer of clear glass. The collection includes a tall stylized duck or goose figure featuring a bicolour core of emerald green and cobalt blue, standing upon a clear circular base. A second tall figure, likely a heron or swan, has a slender form with a deep cobalt blue core and is set on a textured petal-form clear glass base. The third item is a traditional swan figurine with a curved neck and swept-back wings, containing a smoky grey or charcoal core. These pieces are characteristic of mid-20th century Venetian art glass and are in the style of Murano makers such as Seguso or Vetro Artistico Veneziano, although no maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible to confirm a specific attribution.
