A trio of heavy, clear glass items featuring bullicante or controlled bubble decoration. The group consists of one solid spherical paperweight and two squat, rounded candle holders. Each piece is crafted from thick-walled glass with a regular pattern of internal air bubbles trapped within the body. The candle holders feature a central circular recessed well suitable for a tea light or small candle. The paperweight is a solid sphere with a flattened and polished underside for stability. This style of glasswork was popularised by Italian and Scandinavian glasshouses during the mid-20th century. No signatures, maker’s marks, or labels are visible on any of the items.
