A vintage wooden storage barrel, commonly referred to as a nail keg, constructed from vertically aligned timber staves. The structure is reinforced by four rusted iron hoops secured with metal rivets. The exterior shows various signs of industrial use, including splatters of green, yellow, and black paint. The base of the vessel features hand-painted or stencilled markings in red pigment, notably the word LIVERPOOL and the digits 312, positioned below a partial inscription starting with the letter K. The open-topped interior reveals the internal construction of the staves and base.
