A collection of vintage gentleman’s accessories and smoking-related items. The group includes two smoking pipes; one classic dark-stained wood pipe with a curved black stem, and a second pipe decorated with multi-coloured geometric wood marquetry in the Yosegi-zaiku style. Included is a square wooden ashtray, hand-carved with leaf motifs on the sides and featuring four rests. Two hip flasks are present, finished with black textured wraps and silver-tone metal caps and trim, one featuring a blank oval cartouche. Storage and novelty items include a light-toned wooden box with finger-jointed construction and a simple metal latch, and a black-painted metal miniature safe coin bank with a combination dial on the front and a coin slot to the top.
