Two equestrian-related items comprising a horse measuring walking stick and a Buck brand folding knife. The walking stick is constructed with a bamboo-style wooden shaft and a curved crook handle. It contains a concealed, telescopic metal measuring arm that slides out from the handle. The arm is graduated on one side in hands and on the other in inches. A brass-tone commemorative plaque is fixed to the upper shaft with the inscription IN MEMORY OF ALAN JOHNSON 1929 – 2005 BUTCHER HILL FARM MATFEN A FINE HORSEMAN. The Buck brand folding knife is a lockback model with a blade marked PRCA PRORODEO and PROFESSIONAL RODEO COWBOYS ASSOCIATION, alongside BUCK U.S.A. The blade is fitted with a thumb stud and features a partially serrated edge. It is accompanied by a brown leather belt pouch with an embroidered PRCA PRORODEO WITH BUCK logo and a metal press-stud fastener.
