A single-strand beaded necklace featuring uniform simulated pearls, each individually knotted on a cream-coloured thread. The piece is fitted with a circular silver box clasp decorated with an ornate swirling foliate repoussé design and a small central inset simulated pearl. The reverse of the clasp is clearly stamped with the fineness mark 835, indicating a silver content of 83.5 percent, a standard commonly used in continental Europe.
