A Celtic Revival pewter quaich of traditional Scottish form, used for whisky tasting. The item comprises a shallow circular bowl on a flared pedestal base with two flat lug handles. The handles feature relief-moulded interlaced Celtic knotwork, while the reverse side of the handles shows a planished texture. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with a band of Celtic knotwork and circular bosses. The interior features a central engraved medallion with a complex interlaced Celtic knot pattern. There are no visible hallmarks or manufacturer’s marks. This item is confirmed as pewter per the user-provided note.
