A decorative sculpture by Crosa, cast in bronze-patinated resin, depicting the Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe in her iconic skirt-blowing pose from the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. The work is rendered in a naturalistic style with a uniform metallic-brown patina and is mounted on an integral, circular, textured base. The figure is depicted wearing the characteristic halter-neck dress with the skirt billowing upwards. The upper surface of the base bears incised marks reading © 2001 Crosa within a lozenge-shaped border.
