A vintage die-cast toy car transporter set manufactured by Meccano Ltd in England. The set comprises the No. 984 car carrier and the No. 985 matching trailer. The carrier unit features a red-painted body with Dinky Auto Service yellow decals and a manual winding mechanism with a metal crank handle designed to operate the upper loading ramps. The underside of the tractor unit is embossed with Made in England, Meccano Ltd, and 984. The underside of the carrier is embossed with Dinky Supertoys and Car Carrier. The matching trailer features a hinged grey metal rear loading ramp and is embossed underneath with Dinky Supertoys, Trailer for Car Carrier, and Made in England. Both units are fitted with black rubber tyres on metal axles.
