This decorative sculpture, signed Lu Arturo, depicts an elegant woman in early 20th-century attire walking a long-haired dog. The figure is modelled wearing a wide-brimmed hat with floral accents, a puffed-sleeve blouse with a bow, and a long flowing skirt. The piece is executed in a patinated composite material, resembling cold-cast bronze, with copper-toned highlights on the clothing and a greenish-gold hue to the skin. The sculpture stands on a textured integral base which is mounted onto a two-tier, rectangular, stepped black polished plinth. The integral base features an incised signature in cursive script reading Lu Arturo.
