This group of automotive memorabilia features a large handcrafted model of a cab-over-engine tractor unit with a matching low-loader trailer, designed in the style of a Scania lorry. The vehicle is constructed primarily from dark-stained wood with metal fasteners and features a glazed windscreen and side windows revealing a simplified interior. The trailer is detachable and carries a cargo of three wooden planks secured by cord alongside two spare black plastic tires on wooden pegs. All wheels are fitted with black rubberised tires on red plastic hubs.
Accompanying the wooden model is a detailed die-cast metal model of a 1950s Ford F-series wrecker tow truck. The vehicle is finished in a two-tone orange and blue livery for Y.M. Towing, featuring decals indicating the business was established in 1953. This model includes an opening hood revealing a detailed engine bay with chrome-style components, opening cab doors with interior detailing, and a multi-part blue-painted towing crane assembly.
The lot also includes a set of ten ceramic commemorative display plates produced for the British haulage firm Eddie Stobart. Each glazed ceramic plate features a gilded rim and depicts a specific named vehicle from the fleet with its registration and model details. Visible truck names include Laura B, Jessica, Ellie Evie, Nicola Melissa, Holly Alice, Elizabeth Ellen, Bethany Ann, Libby Sun, and Neve Marie.
