Buyer's Premium:

A trio of decorative blue and white porcelain jars comprising a matched pair of large covered jars and a single smaller ginger jar. The pair of large jars are of ovoid form with waisted necks and flared foot rims. They are decorated in underglaze blue featuring twin dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst stylised clouds. The shoulders and bases are embellished with multiple decorative bands including lattice patterns, scrolling lotuses, and geometric borders. Each jar is topped with a domed lid decorated with auspicious symbols and clouds, terminating in a pointed flame-style finial. The base of one large jar bears an underglaze blue six-character seal mark transcribing as Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi. This is an apocryphal mark for the Qianlong reign. The base of the second large jar features a stylised four-character seal mark in underglaze blue, possibly incorporating the character Zheng. The small ovoid ginger jar is decorated with large reserves depicting birds amongst flowering peonies. This scene is set against a dark blue ground with white floral scrolls. It is fitted with a low-domed cover with a small button finial. These pieces are 20th-century decorative wares produced in the style of earlier Qing dynasty porcelain.
