A 9ct gold award medal or watch fob manufactured by Thomas Fattorini, Bolton. The circular obverse features an engraved foliate border surrounding a central shield depicting the Bolton coat of arms in red and white enamel. The reverse is stamped FATTORINI BOLTON above an engraved inscription: B. OF B. F. L. / 1913. / ST MARK’S. / A. HOGARTH. The lower edge of the reverse bears a full set of British hallmarks, including the maker’s mark T.F for Thomas Fattorini, fineness marks 9 and .375 for 9ct gold, the Birmingham assay office anchor, and the date letter o for 1913. The jump ring is also stamped with .375 and the date letter o.
