A commemorative Zippo lighter set released in 1999 to mark the arrival of the new millennium. The set features a metal lighter finished with a titanium vapour deposition (TVD) coating, which the manufacturer identifies as the first use of titanium in a Zippo product. The lighter is engraved with Millennium Edition on the lid and One World One Future on the body. The set is presented in its original lithographed collector’s tin, which features a graphic of the Earth from space. Also included is the original silver-tone cardboard outer protective sleeve and a Certificate of Authenticity stating this edition was limited to 100,000 sets worldwide. The certificate bears a rubber stamp for Watch It Jewellers, Newcastle upon Tyne, and a handwritten date of 17/11/99. The reverse of the tin includes descriptive text regarding the TVD technology and the Zippo Manufacturing Company address in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA.
