A vintage Corgi Toys No. 405M Bedford Utilecon Fire Tender, manufactured in Great Britain. This die-cast metal model is finished in red with silver-painted highlights on the front grille and headlights. The vehicle features yellow and black Fire Dept decals on each side, incorporating a central shield crest. The roof is fitted with a black plastic two-stage sliding ladder mechanism. This is the mechanical version of the model, equipped with a friction motor as indicated by the M suffix. The black-painted metal base plate is embossed with Corgi, British Toys Made, Bedford, Utilecon, and Fire Tender. The item is accompanied by its original blue and yellow illustrated card box, which displays the model number 405M and the Mechanical designation.
