A vintage Corgi Toys die-cast model of a Bedford Utilecon Ambulance, model number 412, produced by Playcraft Toys Ltd in Great Britain. The model features a die-cast metal body finished in cream paint, with plastic window inserts and four black rubber tires on metal axles. Side decals consist of a black stripe with a red cross, yellow text reading AMBULANCE, and a Maltese cross emblem. The front grille and headlights are detailed in silver-coloured paint. The baseplate is embossed with CORGI TOYS, MADE IN GT. BRITAIN, BEDFORD, UTILECON, and AMBULANCE. Included is the original blue illustrated cardboard box, with an end flap identifying the model as 412 BEDFORD UTILECON AMBULANCE. The lot also contains a period Corgi Toys promotional leaflet from Playcraft Toys Ltd, London.
