Dinky Toys No. 490 (formerly 30v) Electric Dairy Van manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in England. This die-cast metal model represents a National Coal Board (N.C.B.) type electric milk float finished in a cream livery for Express Dairy. The vehicle features a red-painted interior load bed and red wheels fitted with black rubber tyres. The underside is painted red and displays the relief-cast markings DINKY TOYS, 30V, N.C.B. ELECTRIC VAN, MADE IN ENGLAND, and MECCANO LTD. The front of the cab is decorated with red EXPRESS DAIRY transfers. The original yellow pictorial cardboard box is included, bearing the product numbers 490 and 30v, and the manufacturer information.
