A 9-carat gold bangle of slender form, manufactured by the Birmingham jewellery firm Smith & Pepper Ltd. The exterior is decorated with a continuous engine-turned pattern of horizontal undulating wavy lines. The interior of the band features a full suite of British hallmarks including the maker mark S&P, the purity marks 9 and .375, the Birmingham Assay Office anchor symbol, and the date letter A.
