This lot contains two pairs of binoculars with their respective carrying cases. The first pair is a set of Tecnar by Swift 12×50 Porro prism binoculars. The left shoulder plate is marked TECNAR by SWIFT COATED OPTICS, and the right shoulder plate is marked 12 X 50 262 ft.at 1000 yds. No. 73287. The instrument features a black textured body, a central focusing wheel, and a right-eye diopter adjustment. It is fitted with four orange-toned plastic lens caps. The binoculars are accompanied by a hard-shell black leather-effect carrying case with a textured surface and a brown shoulder strap.
The second pair is a Minolta Standard XL 8×40 Wide Angle model, produced in Japan. One barrel bears the Minolta logo, while the other is marked STANDARD XL 8×40 WIDE ANGLE 8.2°. The central focus cap is marked MINOLTA JAPAN and retains a silver PASSED inspection sticker. The body is finished in a matte black rubberised coating for improved grip. This pair includes black plastic lens caps and a pair of separate rubber winged eyecups. It is housed in a soft, padded black nylon carrying case with a hook-and-loop closure.
