A large modernist artisan pendant of oval form, featuring a sterling silver foliate overlay. The decorative silver work is designed as textured leaves and vines wrapping around a large central gemstone. The central stone is an oval, opaque cabochon of a deep purplish-red hue, consistent with ruby zoisite. The overlaid design is set with five smaller bezel-set accent gemstones, including a round brilliant-cut colourless stone, an oval lapis lazuli cabochon, a round faceted pale yellow-green stone, an oval faceted pale amethyst, and an oval green cabochon. The pendant is equipped with a fixed, heavy-gauge bail. The reverse of the pendant is stamped with the fineness mark 925.
