Buyer's Premium:

A collection of approximately twenty vintage costume jewellery brooches featuring a variety of figural, floral, and geometric designs. The assortment includes a 22 carat gold-plated butterfly brooch set with Swarovski crystals, identified by an accompanying tag as being made in Canada by D’Orlan for Nina Ricci. Also present is a Spanish Damascene bar brooch labelled as Toledo Ware, dated between the 1950s and 1970s. Animal-themed pieces include a silver-tone running horse, a stylised gold-tone cat, an enamel and rhinestone elephant head, a green enamel lizard set with blue cabochons, and two bee pins decorated with enamel and rhinestones. Floral motifs include a large textured gold-tone leaf, a pink and white enamel flower with a central faux pearl, a silver-tone floral spray with pink enamel, and a gold-tone filigree branch. Other items include a rhinestone-encrusted violin and a large oval banded agate cabochon set in a gold-tone filigree frame. The lot also features an Art Deco evening bag hand-beaded with black and silver-grey glass seed beads in a geometric architectural pattern. The bag includes a matching beaded loop handle and is accompanied by a tag dating it to circa 1910-1920, referencing a 2007 appraisal on the television programme Flog It.
