A 20th-century welded iron kedge pattern nautical anchor, also known as a fisherman’s anchor. The structure consists of a central shank with a straight stock welded perpendicularly near the head. At the base, the shank splits into two curved arms that terminate in welded triangular steel flukes. A fixed eyelet is welded to the head for chain or line attachment. The entire item is coated in a textured grey paint. Visible weld beads are present throughout the construction. There are no maker’s marks or identifying stamps.
