A vintage cocktail ring featuring a large round faceted purple gemstone, likely an amethyst, measuring approximately 12mm to 14mm in diameter. The stone is held within a six-claw open-back basket setting, mounted on a yellow metal band with plain, tapering shoulders. The interior of the shank is incised with the characters 9, C, and T, indicating the metal is 9 carat gold. Further hallmarking is present within rectangular cartouches but is too heavily worn to be clearly identified.
