A hand-blown and lampworked glass figurine of a standing clown in the Murano style. The figure is designed with a tall red top hat, textured yellow hair, and a white glass face featuring a large red-lipped smile, red nose, and black eyes. It wears an oversized, ruffled collar in translucent green glass. The torso and legs are formed from clear glass encasing internal multi-coloured canes and ribbon-like swirls. The clown is posed with large blue gloved hands highlighted with white details and stands upon a pair of exaggerated, stylized black glass shoes. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
