A pair of matte bisque porcelain figurines manufactured by Wedgwood in England. The first figure, titled Rose, depicts a woman in a pink and cream gown with a laced bodice and floral motifs. She wears a wide-brimmed hat secured with a pink ribbon and carries a woven basket of flowers under her right arm, while holding a single pink rose in her left hand. The underside is marked with a circular rose border surrounding the title Rose in script, Wedgwood, Fine Porcelain, and Made in England. The second figure, titled The Golden Jubilee 1887, was commissioned by Spink to commemorate the 1887 jubilee of Queen Victoria. It shows a woman in a blue and white polka-dot bustle dress with ruffled tiers and a matching blue hat, holding a closed parasol in her left hand. The base features an extensive printed mark identifying it as commissioned by Spink Modern Collections Limited and is numbered 4266 from a limited edition of 10,000. It includes the Wedgwood backstamp, Fine Porcelain, and Made in England marks.
