A collection of blue and white transfer-printed earthenware dinnerware, decorated primarily in a pattern resembling the Italian design famously produced by Spode and other British potteries. The main pattern depicts a romantic landscape with classical ruins, pastoral figures, and livestock, enclosed by a foliate scroll border. The assembly includes two large oval platters, dinner plates, shallow soup plates, and various smaller side and dessert plates. The lot also features a tall lidded cylindrical jug, likely for coffee or hot water, which is decorated with a separate Chinoiserie-style pattern featuring pagodas and stylized trees. Completing the set are a small globular teapot with a lid and a cream jug. No maker’s marks or factory backstamps are visible on the bases of the items in the provided photographs.
