A set of six sterling silver teaspoons by the manufacturer Walker & Hall. The spoons feature an Art Deco design with clipped-corner terminals to the handles. Each spoon bowl is struck to the reverse with a clear set of hallmarks, including the maker’s mark W & H within a pennant punch for Walker & Hall, the anchor assay office mark for Birmingham, the lion passant sterling silver standard mark, and the date letter G for 1931. The set is housed in a fitted black presentation case with a velvet-lined base and a cream silk lid lining. The lining is printed in black script with the retailer’s mark for John Forsyth, Jeweller & Silversmith, 52, Fishergate, Preston.
