This lot features a collection of five antique and vintage utility tools. The group includes four lever-action can openers of various designs. One example is a Peerless brand opener, stamped with PEERLESS PAT. FEB. 11. 90 – MADE IN U.S.A. to the steel body. The collection further includes three cast iron figural openers: one featuring a bull head with horns, another with a wolf or dog head, and a third with an animal head terminal and a solid handle ending in a circular hanging hole. The lot also contains a British military issue three-piece folding clasp knife. This tool comprises a spear-point blade, a combination can opener and cap lifter, and a marlin spike. It is constructed with steel bolsters and a steel lanyard ring, fitted with black chequered composition grip scales. The base of the blade is stamped with the British broad arrow property mark and the date 1941, along with a capital letter L.
