A collection of two cased sets of vintage stainless steel flatware. The first is a German service for six by Anton Wingen Jr. of Solingen, comprising six knives and six forks. These pieces feature stag antler handles with decorative metal end caps. The stainless steel blades and tines are embellished with etched and parcel-gilt hunting-themed decorations depicting various wildlife, including stags, wild boar, and game birds. The knife blades are marked ANTON WINGEN JR SOLINGEN-GERMANY ROSTFREI, while the forks are marked STAINLESS GERMANY. The set is housed in a green lizard-effect textured case with a green satin-lined interior.
The second is a fish eater service for six by Harrison Fisher & Co., comprising six fish knives and six fish forks. The set features cream-coloured composite handles and stainless steel blades and tines. The blades bear the marks H E & CO S, FIRTH, and STAINLESS. The set is presented in a black textured case with a cream silk and black velvet-lined interior.
