A mid-century modern table lamp designed in the Brutalist style, dating from the approximately 1960s or 1970s. The base is constructed from a singular, heavy piece of rough-hewn dark grey natural stone, possibly slate or basalt, exhibiting a craggy and irregular texture. It is fitted with a tall, cylindrical chimney-style drum shade finished in a textured ochre-coloured fabric weave. The lamp is equipped with a vintage-style brown twisted electrical cord and an older white UK three-pin plug. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the base or electrical components.
