A Victorian style brass jardiniere of bulbous form, featuring a broad decorative rim. The upper section is embellished with an embossed repousse foliate band depicting scrolling acanthus leaves and thistles, with the design visible on both the exterior and interior surfaces. The vessel is fitted with two cast brass ring handles attached to simple circular bosses and stands on three cast brass bun feet. The item is constructed from spun and cast brass components. No maker’s marks, stamps, or inscriptions are visible on the base or body.
