This lot comprises an assortment of vintage household textiles and decorative linens, showcasing various needlework and lace-making techniques. The collection includes a large machine-made white floral lace panel and a substantial beige handmade crochet lace coverlet featuring repeating floral medallion motifs. Several white cotton and linen cloths are included, decorated with vibrant, multicoloured floral embroidery depicting species such as violets, daisies, and bluebells. Technical elements represented throughout the group include satin stitch, stem stitch, long-and-short stitch, whitework, and intricate cutwork. One specific piece displays tan-coloured floral vine embroidery and drawn thread work on a neutral linen ground. Also present is an off-white cloth with inset crochet panels and delicate tonal embroidery. A further piece of fine yellowish-cream fabric features textured floral embroidery in shades of dusky pink, grey, and brown. No maker’s marks or labels were identified on the items.
