An oil on stretched canvas portrait of musician Robert Plant, signed by the artist Chris De Luen. The subject is depicted in a three-quarter view, gazing upwards and to his left, with the face illuminated by a dramatic light source from the upper right in a chiaroscuro style. The artist has used smooth, blended brushwork to define the facial features, while the voluminous, wavy hair and the dark, monochromatic background are executed with softer, more diffused strokes that create an atmospheric effect. The painting is signed in the lower right corner with characters reading CdeLhuer. It is presented unframed on a standard wooden stretcher.
