An assortment of eight board games primarily consisting of various international and special editions of Monopoly. The collection features a Finnish edition by Parker titled Tunnetuin liikemiespeli with Finnish text on the board layout; a bilingual Arabic and English edition manufactured in Great Britain by Waddingtons Games Ltd; a Dutch Monopoly Deluxe edition by Parker; and a Parker Brothers Deluxe Anniversary Edition. Regional interest is represented by Metropoly, a family board game based on the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Also included are an Australian edition and a standard white box edition by Parker Brothers, as well as a chess set produced by Spear’s Games with a 1990 copyright mark for J.W. Spear and Sons PLC. The games are housed in their original printed cardboard boxes. Based on visual evidence of the open boxes, components include cardboard playing boards, cardstock cards, paper currency, white and red dice, and die-cast metal playing tokens including a racing car.
