A landscape watercolour on paper with graphite underdrawing, depicting a tranquil river scene. The composition features a white-walled cottage with a red-tiled roof situated on the far bank, its form reflected in the water. Groups of tall, slender trees frame the river on either side under a pale, atmospheric sky. The work is executed in a loose, impressionistic manner. It is signed in the lower-left corner in a stylized block script VICTOR NOBLE RAINBIRD/. The artwork is presented in a glazed gilt-finished frame with a thin blue-lined slip and a cream-coloured mount.
