Buyer's Premium:

This collection comprises various marine malacological specimens, primarily gastropod and bivalve shells, stored in a range of vintage pharmaceutical containers. The shells are organised into compartments within a divided cardboard tray. Specific varieties include cowries (Cypraeidae) in various shades and patterns, cone shells (Conidae) featuring dark spiral bands, globose moon snails (Naticidae), and slender auger shells (Terebridae) housed in a circular plastic container. Bivalve examples include white cockle or scallop-type shells. The storage components include numerous blue plastic Pfizer jars and white plastic Teva jars featuring a spade and letter U logo. A notable inclusion is a vintage glass jar with an original paper label for Digitaline Nativelle, from Laboratoire Nativelle, Paris. Several jars contain handwritten identification notes on paper slips, with one dating to September 1987.
