An assortment of natural history specimens comprising various marine and terrestrial shells housed in vintage boxes and containers. The collection features a variety of species including terrestrial gastropods with brown spiral banding, elongated turret or auger shells, and spined murex shells cushioned on cotton wool. Notable individual items include a large spotted auger shell, possibly Terebra maculata, and a reddish-orange scallop shell of the Pectinidae family. Also included are iridescent abalone shells (Haliotis), rugose cream-coloured gastropods, and several glass specimen vials containing miniature shells. A fluted glass jar and a clear plastic container hold further small shell specimens and coral fragments. One box contains a small handwritten paper label in blue ink beneath a specimen. The items are presented within a large cardboard outer box.
