A collection of large-format art monographs and exhibition catalogues focusing on significant figures in Western art history. The group includes the following volumes: Rosa Maria Malet, Joan Miró (Ediciones Polígrafa, S.A., 1983, ISBN 84-343-0384-1); Edmund Swinglehurst, Salvador Dalí: Exploring the Irrational (Blitz Editions, 1992, ISBN 1-85501-833-0); Leonardo Da Vinci (Blitz Editions, 1994, ISBN 1-85501-239-1); Belinda Thomson (Editor), Gauguin by Himself (Little, Brown and Company, 1993, ISBN 0-316-64392-0); Birgit Laskowski, Piero della Francesca (Könemann, 1998, ISBN 3-8290-0247-5); Andreas Quermann, Ghirlandaio (Könemann, 1998, ISBN 3-8290-0248-3); and a large-format volume titled Mondrian. These quarto and folio books are bound in publisher’s cloth or pictorial boards, with most retaining their original pictorial dust jackets. Each volume is extensively illustrated with high-quality colour plates documenting the artists’ major works, accompanied by biographical and critical texts.
