A collection of contemporary floral still life paintings executed in oil on board. Each work is rendered in a modern impressionist style characterised by thick, textured impasto brushwork. The compositions feature various bouquets of flowers, including roses, lilacs, and mixed summer blooms, arranged in vases. Each painting bears the artist’s signature DAS in the lower corner, with some dated 2000 and 2001. The signatures are rendered in purple or dark brown paint. Several paintings are housed in wide, light-toned natural wood frames, while others are set in dark wood frames featuring a thin gilded inner fillet.
